Bird Creatives is deeply grateful to live, work, and create on the traditional and ancestral territories of the peoples of Treaty 6 and Treaty 7.

We acknowledge that Treaty 6 is the home of the Cree, Nakoda Sioux, Dene, Saulteaux, and the Métis peoples of the Lesser Slave Lake, Lower Athabasca River, and North Saskatchewan River regions. The Métis settlements of Buffalo Lake, Kikino, Elizabeth and Fishing Lake also find home in this territory. We also recognize that Treaty 7 encompasses the traditional territories of the Siksikaitsitapi (Blackfoot Confederacy)—including the Siksika, Kainai, and Piikani Nations—as well as the Tsuut’ina Nation and the Îyâxe Nakoda, comprising the Bearspaw, Chiniki, and Wesley First Nations. We further acknowledge the Métis peoples of the Battle River Territory.
