Edmonton AMPLIFIED is a year-round live music initiative that creates performance opportunities for Alberta artists through community events, festival partnerships, and major city-wide celebrations. Produced by Bird Creatives in collaboration with local festivals, venues, tourism organizations, and community partners, the program aims to showcase local talent, strengthen Edmonton's music ecosystem, and connect artists with new audiences.

Edmonton AMPLIFIED Community Series
Free community-focused events presented from August 2026–February 2027 in collaboration with local venues, festivals, arts organizations, and community partners.

CPKC Women's Open
Programming aligned with the CPKC Women's Open, celebrating women in music, sport, and culture through live performances and pop-up activations at the golf tournament venues, driving ranges, and partner locations across Edmonton.

Canadian Finals Rodeo (CFR) Backroads Series
A country, roots, Americana, and western-inspired multi-venue music festival presented during CFR week.

IIHF World Junior Championship – World Juniors Overtime Series
Programming presented alongside one of Edmonton's largest international sporting events, welcoming both local audiences and visitors from around the world. The series includes live music in venues, fan-focused activations, and Live at the Rinkside, a neighbourhood concert program hosted in partnership with community leagues throughout Edmonton.

We are prioritizing artists who:

• Perform primarily original music

• Are based in Alberta or touring through Edmonton

• Represent diverse voices, backgrounds, and musical styles

• Are interested in community-oriented performance environments

What applying means:

Artists may be considered for one or more Edmonton AMPLIFIED opportunities throughout the year. Submitting an expression of interest does not guarantee a booking but ensures your act is considered as programming opportunities arise.

All selected artists will be paid. Performance fees vary depending on event type, venue, artist configuration, and available program budgets.
