Summer Block Party Series 2025: Energizing Edmonton with Live Music, Art, and Community
December 13, 2025 | Edmonton, Alberta, Music, What's Happening
Edmonton’s Entertainment District lit up with a series of Block Parties all summer long and we were right in the heart of it! Music, games, art, street performances, and that unmistakable Edmonton energy took over downtown as we teamed up with the Edmonton Downtown Business Association and the City of Edmonton. Together we turned Rice Howard Way into the place to be. On select Saturdays we brought the beats, the games, and the all-ages activities, and Edmontonians brought the vibes. We were thrilled to welcome over 3,000 people to our block parties over the summer.
What is the Entertainment District?
Entertainment Districts are special zones where people can legally take their beverages (yes, even alcoholic ones) out of licensed establishments and enjoy them outdoors within the district’s boundaries.
Rice Howard Way turned out to be the perfect fit for this designation. With popular spots like Bianco, CRAFT Beer Market, Often Restaurant + Bar, Sherlock Holmes, and several others lining the street, the district became a lively, open-air social hub where visitors could stroll, sip, and soak up the atmosphere all summer long.
Each event had a unique theme:

We were thrilled to support local artists and Edmonton’s downtown business scene. To us, these events are about more than a Saturday in the sun, they boost downtown vibrancy, engage our community, and support the local arts. Our YEG team had a blast on these events, working with the EDBA, community organizations, and the local talent of Edmonton.
Be sure to catch us on Rice Howard Way on New Years Eve!
